What services do you offer?
I offer private drum lessons for drum set and snare drum, as well as professional drum set tuning and maintenance services.
Where do drum lessons take place?
Lessons take place at The River at Eureka, located at 215 N Central Ave, Eureka, MO 63025.
What ages do you teach?
I teach students ages 9 and up.
What are your lesson rates?
30-minute lesson: $30
60-minute lesson: $50
How often should I take lessons?
I recommend weekly lessons for optimal progress, but we can adjust the frequency to fit your schedule and goals.
Do I need my own drum set to start lessons?
No, you don’t need your own drum set to start lessons. A pair of drumsticks and a practice pad are sufficient for practicing at home. As you progress, you may consider investing in a drum set.
What kind of drumsticks do you recommend?
I recommend Vic Firth 5A drumsticks as a good starting point. However, the best choice depends on your personal preference and playing style.
Where can I buy drumsticks and a practice pad?
You can purchase these items at most music stores or online retailers.
How do I set up an initial lesson?
Simply contact me to schedule a convenient time. You'll need to sign a drum lesson contract before your first lesson. [Link to contract]
What are your drum set tuning and maintenance rates?
I typically charge $85 for a standard drum set tuning. Additional fees may apply for extensive work or travel distances. Contact me for a free estimate.
How do you accept payments?
I accept cash, checks made payable to “Blake Schulte Drums,” or Venmo (@BlakeSchulteDrums).
